The UCLA Bruins picked up one of their biggest 2025 commits in June, with four-star safety Jadyn Hudson picking the UCLA over USC, Tennessee, Ohio State and Oregon. A standout wide receiver and safety at Pittsburg High School, Hudson is rated as the 104th-best player in the 2025 recruiting class by Rivals.com and both Rivals and ESPN rate him as one of the 15 best safeties in the country. Hudson is an excellent athlete with above-average ball skills, which could help him develop into a ballhawk in UCLA’s secondary when his other skills develop. Hudson is the highest-ranked defensive recruit in the Bruins’ 2025 class.

Weston Port is the highest-rated player in UCLA’s 2025 recruiting class. Ranked highest by Rivals.com, Port has been making an impact on the defense for San Juan Hills High School since his freshman season (2021-’22). The 6-foot-2 linebacker had offers from Arizona, Auburn, BYU, Arizona State, Colorado, California, Florida State, Georgia, and Duke before committing to the Bruins on Feb. 4, 2024.

  • Weston Port stats (MaxPreps): 213 solo tackles, 61 tackles for loss, 21 sacks, 3 interceptions, 3 pass deflections in 35 career games played at the varsity level

On March 10, 2024, UCLA secured a commitment from three-star cornerback Kuron Jabari Jr. An in-state addition, Jabari Jr. had offers from UNLV, Oregon State, Michigan State, Arizona State, UC Davis, Colorado State, and San Diego State. He was recruited by UCLA’s Kodi Whitfield, per 247 Sports. After committing to the Bruins in March, Jabari Jr. will be on UCLA’s campus for an official visit on May 30.

  • Kuron Jabari Jr stats (MaxPreps): 2 receptions, 35 receiving yards, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 interception in 10 games played

Chase Coleman, Cornerback – Memorial High School (Texas)

UCLA’s coaching staff pulled in a commit out of Texas, poaching 6-foot-1 cornerback Chase Coleman away from North Texas. Until being recruited by UCLA, Coleman hadn’t received much attention from Power 4 schools. However, Coleman’s size and athleticism offer an enticing package that could turn into something with good coaching.

Scott Taylor, Edge Rusher – Loyola High School (California)

The UCLA Bruins picked up their first commit from an edge rusher for the 2025 recruiting class. Ahead of his May 3 visit, Los Angeles native Scott Taylor became the third in-state commit for UCLA in 2025. The 6-foot-4 edge rusher also had offers from Arizona, Army, Columbia, and Cornell. Greg Biggins of 247 Sports called Taylor one of the most versatile players in his region, with teams especially high on his athleticism and intelligence.

Karson Cox, Running Back – Oak Hills High School (California)

RivalsOn3.com247 SportsESPN
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️28th RB⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ – 22nd RB⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️35th RB⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ – 31st RB

Head Coach DeShaun Foster continues his hot streak with the commitment of Karson Cox. More importantly, he beat out cross-town rival USC. The 6-foot, 205-pounder unofficially visited the Trojans in January, two weeks after they extended a scholarship offer. Two months later Cox received an offer from UCLA and attended an official visit just last weekend. Clearly, the visit with Foster stuck as he is now a Bruin. Cox had 17 total offers during his recruitment, and it will now be important for UCLA to keep until signing day.

Madden Iamaveala, Quarterback – Warren High School (California)

RivalsOn3.com247 SportsESPN
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 3rd QB (CA)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 13th QB⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 11th QB⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 7th QB

The UCLA Bruins QB room is going to be stacked with the addition of Iamaveala. The biggest problem they will have is keeping all of them without any hitting the transfer portal, but that is a good problem to have. This past high school season was Iamaveala’s first as the starting QB as he was the backup to his brother (QB for Tennessee) prior to that. He has a strong arm, and while he does not run a ton, he does have dual-threat ability and can extend plays with his legs. High-upside commit.

Noah Flores, Tight End – Graham-Kapowsin (Washington)

RivalsOn3.com247 SportsESPN
⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 32nd TE⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 23rd TE⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 12th TE

At 6’4, 240 pounds, Flores is the prototypical size for a Tight End. He has solid hands and also enough athleticism to run after the catch. UCLA has continually produced talented, yet underrated TE prospects. Noa Flores is in line to be the next one.

Dylan Sims, Tight End – Queen Creek (Arizona)

RivalsOn3.com247 SportsESPN
⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 44th TE⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 54th TEN/A

Sims is a huge human for a High School Senior standing at 6’6 and 225 pounds. He is a solid threat downfield and has an impressive catch radius. He is not as sound in run blocking and will need to improve in that area to be a true three-down tight end in the Big Ten. He is a very high-upside player.

Tyler Partlow, Defensive Line – St. Thomas More (New York)

RivalsOn3.com247 SportsESPN
⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/AN/A⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 117th DLN/A

Partlow had offers from Washington and Maryland, among others, but ultimately committed to the UCLA Bruins after his official visit on May 31. He will be a nice developmental piece for the defense.

Garrison Blank, Offensive Tackle – Rocklin (California)

RivalsOn3.com247 SportsESPN
⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 62nd OT⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 63rd OT⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 58th OTN/A

Garrison Blank had recruiting offers from Cal, Utah, Minnesota, and others, but ultimately committed to the UCLA Bruins. At 6’7, 305 pounds, he will bring tremendous size to the Bruins’ offensive line room.
