V. Athens officiting. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery in Homer under the direction of the First National Funeral Home. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. H.

D. Camp Haynesville; one son, Malcolm Shockley of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Billingsley of Florence, Mrs. E. D.

Cole of Fort Worth, Mrs. W. S. Corley of Ruston. Mr.

Shockley died Thursday in the North Claiborne Hospital in Haynesville following short illness. He had lived in port for 40 years and was a charter member of the Highland Baptist Church. Mrs. Lane Davis DUBACH Mrs. Lane Davis, 73, died Wednesday in Ruston.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. James King and the Rev. Donald Lemons officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, C. P. Davis of Dubach, The Rev. Harold Davis of Winnsboro, Maury G. Davis of Bernice; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. Robert McFerren MANSFIELD Mrs. Robert McFerren, 69, of Marthaville, died Thursday. Funeral services will be held p.m. today in the Beulah Methodist Church.

Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery. The child died Thursday in a Leesville hospital. and T. Dennis of Joseph K. Guenther PLAIN DEALING Funeral services were pending here this morning at the Bailey Mortuary for Joseph K. Guenther, 67, a veteran construction foreman for the Kansas City Bridge Co. of Kansas City.

Mr. Guenther died at his home here late last night of a heart attack. He had resided here since his retirement two years ago. He is survived by his wife; one son, Donald D. Guenther of Dallas, two brothers, Louie Guenther of Phoenix, and Albert Guenther of Dallas, two sisters, Mrs.

Mrs. Annie Adams LONGVIEW, Tex. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Emma Adams, 81, are pending at Rader Funeral Home. Mrs.

Adams died at 4:25 a.m. Thursday in a Longview convalescent center. A former resident of Palacios, Matagorda County, Mrs. Adams had lived here about 18 months. was a member of Pine Tree Church of Christ.

E. Wingfield, died Thursday in the Ferriday Hospital after a short illness. He was pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Waterproof and the Clayton Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sat.

at the Wares Chapel near Haynesville with the Rev. W. D. Boddie of Monroe and the Rev. C.

C. Mims of St. Joseph officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Bailey Mortuary. Survivors include his wife; three sons, James E.

Wingfield, Clifton R. Wingfield, 1 and Harold G. Wingfield, all of Waterproof; two daughters, services for Stephen Sylvester Hvezdos, 63, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the St. Anthony Catholic Church.

The recitation of the rosary has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. today in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rt. Rev. Msgr, Edward Shopka officiating for both services. Burial will be in the Memory Park Cemetery.

Mr. Hv ez dos, born in Strawn, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was a retired senior designing engineer for the Texas State Highway Department. He served the department 30 years. Hvezdos had a B.S.

degree engineering from St. Edwards' University of Austin and was a registered professional engineer and a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He had received a plaque from Associated General Contractors of America at a dinner at The Contessa Inn Tuesday evening for outstanding service. He was stricken while he was at the meeting and was hospitalized then.

He died the foliowing night. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Capt. Michael S. Hvezdos, stationed in Heidelberg, Germany Army, John Ross Hvezdos, Conroe, and Timothy Lee Hvezdos, Longview; two daughters, Mrs. G.

Robert Moore, Houston, and Patricia Ann Hvez dos, Irving; his mother, Mrs. John Hvezdos, Bridgeport; two brothers, Lewis Starr, Campbell, Ohio, and Joe Hvezdos, Lebanon, two sisters, Mrs. George B. Mallicote, and W. H.

Wright, both of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren. Ruston. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today the Zion Lutheran Church in Mission Valley, Tex. Burial will be in the Mission Valley Cemetery under the direction of the McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home in Victoria, Tex.

Durham HODGE-J. B. (Gabe) Durham, 60, died this morning at the Hodge Clinic after a brief illness. He was a supervisor at Continental Can Co. Hodge where he was employed for 37 years.

Mr. Durham was a deacon in the Hodge Baptist Church, past Master of the Hodge Masonic Lodge, past president of the Jonesboro- Otto H. Albrecht RUSTON Otto H. Albrecht, 85, died Wednesday in Mrs. Virginia Harwell of Ashdown, Ark.

and Mrs. Ruth Harris of Dallas, one brothelia, Gladney one Wingfield sister, of Mrs. Audna Nelson of Shreveport; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be L. T.
